Mediocre Chinese food, it served its purpose. We weren't in the mood to cook, so we got Chinese. Eh, it's American Chinese food so not much to say. We got the boneless ribs, garlic shrimp with rice and house lo mein. They gave us fortune cookies, which weren't awful. Total was around $25 bucks. We picked it up. The service was fast, we didn't have to wait when we got there. It was done!

Tiny portions. The food isn't that great but it's okay. Don't order if you're trying to save money or are really hungry. Enjoyed the spring rolls

In the world of bad Chinese food, Jin JIn's is cruising along happily on the Main Street of Mediocrity. I came here for lunch during the week and got a chicken and broccoli. It came out fast and piping hot. Taste wise though, I should not be surprised to say that's it's your typical American Chinese food. I prefer Tokyo Express but Jin Jin's is okay for lunch during the week. Small portion, around $6, and fast.

Doesn't even deserve this measly one star. I called for delivery and the first phone call the guy kept yelling "I no hear you" then the second time I called they said they couldn't deliver to my hotel that was 4.6 miles away from the restaurant when online it said 5 miles is the farthest they deliver then had no clue what I was saying when I asked to speak to a manager.. thanks a bunch.

This is my favorite food in Ft Walton Beach! I swear by the Tofu Chicken. Beware of Jin Jin name thieves -- two of the negative reviews refer to Jin Jin 98. They are not the same restaurant!!! This Jin Jin has no problems with roaches nor fake red snapper. The prices are small, the portions are large, and the food is fast. I go here every time I'm in town, and the owners are there every day. I've been a loyal customer since they opened 12 years ago, and I'll keep going back!

There is not one thing I don't love about this place. Their wonton soup is excellent and I'm also a huge fan of the chow mein. Great food and great service from the owners.

Ordered at 6:45 P.M. and my food arrived at ~7:13. I'd say it was a decent delivery time. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was, meh, I guess you could say mediocre. Their Steamed Dumplings were pretty darn good though! Would I order from here again? Of course! P.S. I was told there was a minimum cost of $15 for delievery. Hope that helps!

Read a story recently that Jin Jin was shut down due to health inspection fails with roaches and seafood scam. Apparently they were and still are selling Tilapia as Red Snapper. Come on, quit scamming customers. Go buy REAL Red Snapper.

Pretty good - this area is really tough for finding good Chinese food, and so far in my experience this is as good as it gets. My pork fried rice was awesome, but the egg rolls were tiny and not crisp. Both my husband and I got food that should've had some kick to it (General Tso's and Spicy Beef) and neither was spicy at all. I've certainly had better, but I've also had far, far worse. We'll be back.

Jin Jin is a decent restaurant. My hubby swears by it. Personally, I prefer more authentic fare, but this restaurant does ok. The interior is clean and the service is good. Careful going here, though. Their kids play outside and have on several occasions nearly run me over with their bikes. All around, not bad. I recommend giving it a shot.

Horrible Service!! If I could give zero stars I would! I went here New Years Eve, and was not impressed. Dirty store, lousy customer service lousy food. I placed an order two entrees and three egg rolls. I get all the way home and the egg rolls were not in the bag. I called the store to tell them they didn't put the egg rolls in my bag and I wanted to come back and get them or get my money back. The girl was very rude and basically told me I was screwed. They were not going to give me back my money or give me the egg rolls that THEY "forgot" to put in my bag. They claimed they had no proof I bought it and I was just there!! The store was not busy they had no customers when I ordered everyone was just standing around. No excuse to forget part of my order!! I will NEVER go back here again!! There's better places then this sorry place!! If you insist on going here, check your bag before you leave!! They WILL NOT refund you your money or give you the food that they "forgot" to put in your bag!! Terrible terrible service!! Go to Tokoyo Express in Uptown Station. Better food better service and they won't forget any part of your order!!

I almost always use the delivery service. 99% of the time the food arrives sooner than they had estimated. The delivery people are always courteous. The quality of the food is good. Not sure what another reviewer was talking about, but there has never been a delivery fee or tip automatically added to the bill.

Worst Chinese food I've ever tasted in my life! I had the lo mein which is pretty hard to mess up. The noodles were super mushy and it was just plain bad. I do NOT recommend eating here! I will never be going back.

Cleanest asian place I've been too in a long time. Very small, mostly a take out place. The food is very basic American style Chinese fast food, priced right for what you get. The employees are friendly and efficient in their service. Go to Jin Jin for a quick meal instead of a burger, dont go there thinking you are getting a gormet dinner.

It's average and I wasn't able to order "off-menu". Delivery was ok; meaning nothing spilled and fairly timely.

Where I'll get my chinese in fwb from now on. The dumplings are delicious! Love the rice they include with your dinner. They also deliver which makes it convenient.

I got the teriyaki dinner combo which includes fried rice & two egg rolls. Hubby got the sweet & sour chicken combo. The teriyaki chicken wasn't bad but the rice was terrible. It even looked gross. The sweet & sour chicken was too soft. Egg rolls were meh. This place doesn't even compare to tokyo express. This was our first & last Jin Jin experience.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
